A hero cop who was critically injured in the Glasgow stabbings in June is a finalist for a national bravery award.
Police Constable David Whyte was among six people injured in the attack at the Park Inn Hotel.
The attacker Badreddin Abadlla Adam was shot dead by police.
The 42-year-old constable was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment after the attack.

He has now reached the selection stage for an Act Of Courage category of Brave Britons 2020 among 50 other nominees.
The award recognises outstanding courage and daring of people who may have risked their own lives for the safety of others.
An overall winner will be declared in October.
