SPORTS pitches across East Renfrewshire are now reopening.
Council chiefs gave the go-ahead for synthetic pitches to welcome visitors again on Monday, after they had been closed during the coronavirus crisis.
And grass pitches will be available to book from Saturday, August 1.
The changes are being made after the Scottish Government moved to phase three of its route map out of lockdown.
A spokesperson for East Renfrewshire Council said: “We are pleased to say our synthetic pitches reopened on Monday. However due to the current restrictions, there will be no access to changing facilities.
“Anyone using the pitches or toilets must act responsibly and follow the latest coronavirus guidelines.”
