TWO people have been charged by police after an eight-year-old boy was seriously injured during a dog attack in Johnstone.
The youngster was bitten by two dogs in Hagg Crescent at around 6pm on Thursday, July 16, and was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children, in Glasgow, for treatment.
Police said the boy’s injuries were serious but not life-threatening and he has since been released from hospital.
A man and a woman, both aged 66, have been charged in connection with the incident and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
