Trio in court over alleged serious assault
THREE people have appeared in court following an alleged serious assault that took place in Barrhead at the weekend.
A 39-year-old man, and two women, aged 38 and 39, were in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, accused of assaulting a 40-year-old woman in Balgray Crescent on Saturday night.
It is understood that all three were released on bail.
Inspector Stevie Scott, based at Giffnock police office, said: “At around 8.20pm on Saturday, in Balgray Crescent, two females and a male were arrested following an incident.”
