POLICE are appealing for help to trace a vulnerable East Renfrewshire pensioner who has gone missing.
Rose Quinn, who is 81 and has dementia, was last seen at her home in the Clarkston area at around 12.45pm today.
She is described as around 4ft 8ins in height, of slim build, with grey hair.
When last seen, Rose was wearing a cream coat and dark jeans.
Sergeant Gordon Sweeney, of Giffnock Police Office, said: "Rose has dementia and therefore may appear confused. She has links to the Shawlands area and we believe she will be on foot.
"We are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can make sure she is safe and well."
Anyone with any information should call the police via 101, quoting incident number 2,031 of July 16.
