Despite 'air bridges' being given the go-ahead today, many have decided that 2020 will be the year of UK staycations and this cruise may be just what you were looking for.
Organised by Norwegian cruise line Hurtigruten, vacationers will set off from Glasgow on the MS Roald Amundsen.
The ship, which is set to depart from the Greenock docks on September 12, is the world's first hybrid expedition cruise ship.
Embracing sustainable exploration, single-use plastics will be banned aboard the ship and people will have the opportunity to participate in a beach clean-up.

In eleven days the cruise will visit UK's most unforgettable sites including Scottish gems Oban, Stornoway and the St. Kilda archipelago.
It will then take its passengers to Rathlin Island, Liverpool, Pembroke, Cork, Isles of Scilly, Fowey and finishing the trip in Portsmouth.
Each site offers unique exploration opportunities, ranging from castles to picturesque coastal paths found off-the-beaten-track.
On-board the ship guests will also have the chance to use the ship's indoor and outdoor gyms, sauna and hot tubs.
However, the number of passengers will be limited to ensure social distancing and only 350 people will be able to grab a spot.
Prices which include three meals a day are listed from £1999 per person.
