Officers have returned to West George Street to remove the last cordons from the scene of the knife attack which left six injured.

Cordons have been in place in the city centre street since Friday, June 26.

The road was closed this afternoon to allow officers to take away the final barriers.

On the day of the attack, the street was closed off from West Nile Street to Wellington Street.
