Youngsters across East Renfrewshire have been showing support for NHS staff and other frontline workers during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Colourful drawings of rainbows have appeared in windows at homes in Barrhead and the surrounding area as families thank all those who are helping others.
The rainbow has become a symbol of support for NHS staff and other key workers, such as those in supermarkets, who are playing a vital role while East Renfrewshire is in lockdown.
Make sure you get next week’s Barrhead News for more of the rainbow drawings created by local children to bring some much-needed cheer to communities during this difficult time.
