A CAR nabbed from a driveway in Linwood was later found crashed into a fence in Inverclyde. 

Cops are on the hunt for two mystery crooks who pinched the motor from Morar Drive before later smashing it in Flatterton Road, Greenock. 

Police say a jogger discovered the silver Vauxhall Astra at around 7.42am on Friday and saw two men escaping from the scene.

It is unknown exactly when the car was stolen but it is believed to have been between Tuesday night and Friday morning. 

The car is understood to have suffered only minor damage during the crash. 

Police are asking anyone with information to call them on 101.
