The boarded up pubs adds to the emptiness of what is usually one of the busiest streets in Glasgow.
Nearby, The Smiddy pub has a sign on the padlocked door that there is no cash or alcohol left on the premises as a disincentive to any potential criminals.
Police have reported break is and vandalism at other pubs since they were told to close their doors more than a week ago.
The shutdown is expected to last several weeks with suggestions it could be summer before measures are eased.
