EMOTIONAL tributes flooded the streets of East Renfrewshire last night as residents took to the streets and clapped for our NHS.
Thousands of people stood outside their homes and put their hands together to acknowledge the around-the-clock work that the frontline staff have been doing throughout the coronavirus crisis.
Fireworks could be seen and bagpipes could be heard in Barrhead and Neilston, with Kevin Guthrie, actor and former St Luke’s High School pupil, paying his own tribute to the NHS.
