A MAN allegedly kicked and spat at police officers when he was arrested for drink driving in Paisley on Tuesday.
Officers were assisting the 54-year-old male with his vehicle’s flat tyre at a Tesco petrol station, in Renfrew Road, at around 11.30pm, when they reportedly smelled alcohol on his breath.
The man was later charged with refusing to submit a breath sample, drink driving, driving while disqualified and assault. He was also charged with breach of the peace and two police assaults.
The man was due to appear at court on Wednesday.
