Mystery van driver threatens man with knife
COPS are on the hunt for a mystery white van man who hurled abuse at a driver before threatening him with a knife.
A 49-year-old man raised the alarm following the shocking incident in Murray Street, Renfrew, at around 8.50pm on Thursday.
It is understood the van pulled up alongside his car, before the driver shouted out his window, later brandishing the blade and threatening the victim.
The white van was later found abandoned by officers elsewhere in the town with no trace of the suspect.
Police are asking anyone with information or who saw any white van drivers acting suspiciously in the area to contact them on 101.
