The theft took place from a vehicle in Manse Road, Neilston
Police are appealing for witnesses to a theft of tools worth a four-figure sum from a works van at the weekend.
The break-in and theft happened sometime between 4pm on Friday, February 21 and 9am on Saturday, February 22 while the van was parked in Manse Road, Neilston.
Officers asked any members of the public who have information on the raid, or who gets offered any second-hand tools, to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers where they can remain anonymous.
Police also reminded the public not to leave valuables in their vehicles and consider additional security where possible, such as parking in well-lit areas or private CCTV.
