SNOW is expected to cause travel disruption in East Renfrewshire during the early morning rush hour tomorrow.

The Met Office has issued a Yellow warning for snow across the country from 3am on Monday morning until 10pm tomorrow night.

It is predicted that the weather may cause possible travel delays on roads stranding some vehicles and passengers, as well as potential rail and air travel cancellations.

Power cuts may occur and other services, such as mobile phone coverage, could also be affected.

The warning follows a weekend of weather disruption as widespread flooding took hold of the country.

A photo taken by one of our readers, Dereck McDougall, showed water believed to be around one foot deep outside ASDA in Barrhead on Friday night.
