POLICE are appealing for witnesses of a break-in at Madras Family Centre this month.
Thugs forced their way through a window, causing at least £200 in damage before then "ransacking" the nursery, said officers. No estimate for the damage has yet been calculated.
The break-in happened sometime over the weekend between February 7 and 10.
Schools were closed at the beginning of last week so there is not believed to have been any impact on pupils at the nursery.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident #384 of February 10.
Last year, there were break-ins at five nurseries in Barrhead and Newton Mearns over a period of six weeks.
Railway Cottage Nursery in Barrhead was one of those hit in October and a safe was stolen.
