RAIL services in East Renfrewshire faced disruption yesterday after a tree fell on the tracks between Glasgow and East Kilbride.
Services to Thornliebank, Giffnock, Clarkston and Busby were all suspended, with train tickets being accepted on FirstBus services for affected passengers.
The incident followed a weekend of travel disruption in the area as Storm Dennis took hold of the country.
Services have since returned to normal but passengers have reported slight delays this morning.
A Met Office yellow weather warning remains in place for East Renfrewshire this morning, with forecasters predicting heavy winds will continue to batter the area.
