A MAN has been charged after police in East Renfrewshire recovered a large quantity of drugs.
Officers armed with a search warrant staged a swoop on a property in Newton Mearns on Wednesday, February 5.
Blue pills, believed to be ecstasy, were seized during the raid, which took place at around 7.30am.
Police have confirmed that a 24-year-old man has been cautioned and charged in relation to the incident and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Anyone who has information about drugs in East Renfrewshire is asked to call officers on 101.
