SHOPPERS at a busy mall will come face-to-face with exotic visitors this half-term.
The 'Wild Things' school holiday event, which takes place at Silverburn on Tuesday, February 11, is described as "an amazingly-realistic animals tour."
Two "lifelike" gorillas and a giant tortoise, named Zelva, will be grazing outside the Next store between noon and 4pm, with shoppers young and old able to check out the intricately-designed guests.
David Pierotti, general manager at Silverburn, said: “This half-term, we wanted to create an event that was fun and educational at the same time – a chance for local kids to get excited about the world around them.”
Shoppers can also download the Silverburn PLUS App for holiday giveaways, including animal masks and children’s books.
