A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged robbery at an East Renfrewshire travel agents.
Police confirmed the 34-year-old suspect was detained today after an investigation was launched into an incident that took at the Barrhead Travel branch in Ayr Road, Newton Mearns, at around 1pm on Friday, January 17.
The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court tomorrow and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
