SOME of the world’s greatest art exhibitions are coming to the big screen for East Renfrewshire audiences.
Exhibition On Screen is a series of award-winning films celebrating artists, starting with Lucian Freud.
Eastwood Park Theatre is taking part in the unique display of art as the Royal Academy of Arts in London, in collaboration with the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, bring together Lucian Freud’s self portraits for the first time.
The exhibition is presented by multi award-winning documentary filmmaker Phil Grabsky and will display more than 50 paintings, prints and drawings from one of the most celebrated painters of our time.
A spokesperson from East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure said: "Lucian Freud: A Self Portrait is sure to be a fascinating, informative and unique insight into the world of an incredible artist.
“I hope that the audience will enjoy learning about his captivating approach to portraiture.”
