A TEENAGER is being hunted by police in Helensburgh after allegedly approaching two girls in the town and making inappropriate comments towards them.

Two females aged 14 and 16, from outwith the area, were reportedly approached by a man outside Helensburgh Central railway station on Saturday, November 30 at around 5.45pm.

The man, described as around 17-years-old, of slim build with brown hair, is said to have made sexualised comments to the girls and grabbed one by the hood of her jacket before they both managed to run off from him.

Police say the suspect was wearing black jogging bottoms, black trainers and a distinctive yellow puffa style jacket.

CCTV is being reviewed to try and trace the suspect and any information from the public should be passed on to PC Canty at Helensburgh police office.
