THE results of an 18-month partnership between Hermitage Park and Eco-Schools pupils at Hermitage Academy will be put on show to the public at an event next week.
With the help of a £10,000 grant from the National Lottery, pupils from the Academy's Eco-Schools group have been visiting the park on a monthly basis for the last 18 months to help maintain the park, create a community kitchen garden, improve their physical and mental health and contribute towards their local community.
The results of all their hard work will go on show at a free event in the park on Monday, December 9, from 11.30am until 1.30pm.

As well as information about the project, there will also be food, drink, games and activities – and a raffle, with prizes donated by a host of local businesses including the Coffee Club, The Toy Shop, The Flower Shop, Wrights, Shooftie, Plantation, Grasshopper Toys, Zero Waste Helensburgh and more.
Fiona McLeod from the Academy's Eco Schools group said: "If you're free, please do come along and support these amazing youngsters who have worked so hard."
