A MAN is behind bars over claims he had a rammy with neighbours and then attacked cops, before using his pee and poo to write abuse on a cell wall.
Gary Maxwell, 32, of Bridge of Weir Road, Linwood, is said to have went to Peter and Tracy Watson’s home on November 23 and acted aggressively.
He is also accused of behaving aggressively towards police officers while being taken to Greenock police station.
He faces four further charges of police assault and is also accused of
maliciously defecating and urinating within a police cell and using the waste to write derogatory remarks on a wall there.
Maxwell pleaded not guilty to all of the charges when he appeared handcuffed in the dock at Paisley Sheriff Court last week.
He was remanded in custody ahead of his trial, which is set for January.
