BURNS Night may be almost two months away – but members of Helensburgh Burns Club showed they're about more than the work of Scotland's national bard by holding a St Andrew's Day celebration.
Around 70 guests at Helensburgh Bowling Club were entertained by a packed programme of entertainment celebrating all things Scottish.
Two past club presidents, Robert Ryan and John Young, sang and played guitar, while dancers Hollee and Ava Carmichael also performed.
There were also performances by pipers Andy Letham and Colin Lawrie, while the toast to Scotland was given by Professor Gerry Carruthers, who has spoken about Robert Burns across the world.

Another renowned Burns performer, Stuart Brodie, delivered a masterful recital of the bard's iconic poem Tam o' Shanter, and club director Robert Foxx also gave a poetic performance.
And singer Alan Beck, who has performed at Sydney Opera House and the United Nations and is the current president of Greenock Burns Club, entertained the audience with songs.
Club president Graham Hill said: "It was another fantastic evening and now we focus our attention on our Burns Supper on Saturday, January 11, which we hope will be just as successful.
"We would like to thank Liz Fraser and the bowling club's bar staff for all their help and support on the night."
