NEILSTON Primary School was broken into over the weekend as a number of items were stolen.
Police have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the break-in and theft, which happened at some point on Sunday November 17.
Two laptops, among other items, were stolen as drawers were raided at the High Street school.
A police spokesperson said the break-in was an isolated incident and is likely to be the work of an "opportunist" thief.
