TWO teenagers have been charged in relation to a fire which engulfed part of an East Renfrewshire primary school last weekend.
Police Scotland have confirmed that two 15-year-old boys have been charged in connection with the incident at Mearns Primary School.

Four fire crews were called to the Newton Mearns school to tackle an exterior blaze at around 7.30pm on Sunday, October 20.

Damage was limited to just one classroom and the building has been deemed safe for occupancy, with pupils returning to the school on Tuesday.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and Scottish Children's Reporter Association.
