A TEENAGER has been charged after he was filmed performing a Nazi salute outside an East Renfrewshire synagogue.
The video clip, which has been circulated online, shows the schoolboy with a Hitler-style moustache drawn above his upper lip.
He is also seen grinning into the camera.
In the next scene, the boy stands outside the synagogue in Giffnock, with his arm raised in a Hitler-style salute.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland is aware of a video circulating in various social media channels which shows a teenage boy conducting actions of an anti-Semitic nature outside a Synagogue.
"A 16-year-old-boy has been charged and is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal and the Scottish Children's Reporters Administration in connection with the incident."
