A man has been rescued from the River Clyde after a multi-agency rescue operation.
Emergency services raced to the scene near to Bothwell Bridge last night at around 6.10pm.
Police, fire crews, paramedics and a rescue helicopter were all seen by worried locals who had spotted the fallen male.

Eyewitnesses reported members of the public had stopped their vehicles to assist the rescuers, by pointing in the direction of the incident.
Brave firefighters rescued the man, whose age is not known, a short time later.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken away in an ambulance, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
A police spokeswoman confirmed the incident to the Evening Times.
