FUN for all the family was on offer at a special event in Barrhead.
More than 900 people went along to Auchenback’s annual Community Safety Fun Day.
A host of entertainment was lined up at the Auchenback Resource Centre (ARC), including everything from pony rides to music from Neilston Ukulele Band.
Youngsters could also check out model dinosaurs and enjoy some face painting.
Event organiser Rita Connelly said this year’s event was the best since the fun day was first launched more than a decade ago.
She told the Barrhead News: “It was an absolutely brilliant day. Everything went great and Domino’s Pizza, in the Main Street, supplied 14 large pizzas. I would like to thank them sincerely for their support.
“The children absolutely loved it and I think it would be fair to say it was our best event yet.
“We’re thinking about staging a similar event at Christmas time, so that will be fun.”
