BOOKWORMS will be able to pick up their favourite novels as Silverburn announces plans to open its first book store.
Waterstones is expected to open its doors in September this year and the introduction of the well-loved brand is an exciting addition to Silverburn’s offering as the centre’s first bookshop.
The store will stock a handpicked range of books, stationery and gifts and will be a welcoming place for families with a large children’s department, picture book train and events programme.
David Pierotti, General Manager at Silverburn, said: “We’re really excited to be announcing yet another opening at Silverburn as we continue to diversify the experiences and retailers on offer for our shoppers.
“Waterstones is the UK’s most popular book retailer and enjoying a good read is still without a doubt one of the nation’s favourite pastimes. We’re always listening to what our shoppers want and a bookstore in the centre has been in high demand, we’re sure they will be excited about this latest addition to Silverburn’s offering.”
James Daunt, Managing Director of Waterstones, added: “Our Scottish bookshops have been enjoying extraordinary success these last few years, and we are delighted to add to their number. Silverburn is exactly the kind of vibrant shopping centre in which we thrive, and we aim to give it an exceptional bookshop.”
