Man arrested on suspicion of murdering Paisley woman
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Paisley woman.
Police have confirmed a 69-year-old man has been detained following the disappearance of 46-year-old Patricia Henry.
Patricia, known to her friends as Patti, lived in Paisley before moving to Girvan, in Ayrshire, where she was last seen at her home in November 2017.
After she was formally reported missing in March last year, cops began extensive investigations in the hope of finding her, but there have been no further sightings.
Earlier this month, Detective Chief Inspector Suzanne Chow, of Police Scotland's Major Investigations team, said cops believed it was 'very likely' she had come to harm.
