Two men from Renfrewshire have appeared in court charged with causing the death of a teenage girl by dangerous driving.
Fifteen-year-old Robyn Fryar was out with friends in Paisley at around 2am on Sunday and was crossing Glenburn Road, near Fereneze Drive, when she was hit by a car.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in Glasgow, but died a short time later.
Shaun Gatti and David Kinnon, both aged 20, faced a charge of causing death by dangerous driving when they appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court yesterday.
Gatti was also charged with a further two traffic offences and with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
No plea was entered and both men, who are from Paisley, were granted bail.
