POLICE have launched an investigation after a car was vandalised in a Barrhead street.
Sometime late at night on Thursday, June 27, or in the early hours of Friday, June 28, the front windscreen of the vehicle was smashed while it was parked in Braeside Crescent.
A police spokesman said the car also suffered other damage, leaving its owner to face a hefty repair bill.
“We are investigating a vandalism incident on a car in Braeside Crescent, during which the front windscreen was smashed,” added the spokesman.
“If there are any members of the public who witnessed the incident, or if they can provide any information on the identity of the person responsible, we would ask them to contact us on 101.”
