YOUNGSTERS can have a barrow-load of fun playing at being construction workers in a ‘building site’ made especially for them.
Or they can jump-start the summer holidays by driving around a mini town in toy cars on marked roads with traffic lights and their own petrol station.
The building site has been created in Soar at intu Braehead, in Renfrew, while the mini driving school is in the central atrium of the shopping mall.
The free activities run until August 13 and anyone signing up to the intu Family Club will be invited to exclusive days of activities.
David Lyon, marketing manager at the mall, said: “We’ve created an exciting new world for families who let their imaginations run wild.”
Our pictures show six-year-old Andrew Cruickshank, from Neilston, getting his hands on a digger and fellow Neilston youngster Nadia Carey with intu Braehead pit stop mechanic Michelle Ferguson.
