POLICE are urging residents to make sure their homes are secure after an attempted break-in took place in Barrhead.
A home in Aursbridge Drive was targeted on the morning of Sunday, June 23, but the culprit was unable to gain entry.
A police spokesman said: “We received a report of an attempt to break into a house on Aursbridge Drive.
“We would like to remind residents to make sure all doors and windows are locked and to report any suspicious persons or vehicles to the police by calling 101.”
