A BARRHEAD business is in the final of this year’s greeting card retailer awards.
Bluestone, in the town’s Cross Arthurlie Street, has been shortlisted as a finalist under category “Best Independent Greeting Card Retailer - Scotland”.
And the family-owned business, that was opened in 2000 by Jeanette and Campbell Park-Patterson, are thrilled to be recognised nationally by this award.

Mrs Park-Patterson said: “Not only did we win Customer Excellence at the All About Barrhead Awards, we are also a finalist at The Retas 2019.
“The team and I, at Bluestone, are thrilled for this recognition both locally and nationally.
“And as we approach our 20th year of trading, achievements like this mean everything to our small family business.
“Bluestone was established in 2000, opening our original branch in Barrhead.
“Over the years we have expanded opening a further two branches in Largs, one in Lochgilphead and also the addition of a coffee shop to our original Barrhead branch.”
The Retas Awards, now in its 15th year, recognises the UK’s very best greeting card retailers from right across the retail spectrum.

They celebrate not only the top independent and multiple greeting card retailers regionally and nationally, but also the retail employees inside the stores.
Bluestone will compete with five other Scottish businesses in their category as they go for the top award.
And Jeanette and Campbell’s children, Sara Still and Haydn Park-Patterson, will travel to London next month where the glamorous awards ceremony will be held at Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Wednesday July 10.
