VISITORS saddled up to enjoy the annual Neilston Cattle Show.
The historic agricultural event took place on Saturday – and this year’s activities included everything from showjumping to sheep dog trials.
The pet show featured baby goats, rabbits and ducks.
And the Neilston tug-of-war competition provided great entertainment for the participants and crowd alike.
Rita Kilian, secretary of the Neilston Cattle show, said: “It was really good fun.
“There were six schools that took part in the sports day. Neilston Primary won the tug-of-war, as well as the boys’ relay.
“The girls’ relay was won by Uplawmoor Primary and Carlibar Primary won the prize for best school banner.
“The educational dome tent, as always, proved to be very popular. ”
Overall winner of the Neilston Show was David Craig, of Kennox Farm, Stewarton, whose Simmental bull was declared Champion of Champions.
