FAMILIES put their sleuthing skills to good use on Easter Saturday by taking part in the Big Barrhead Easter Egg Hunt.
Carlibar Park was the venue for the fun event, organised by the Barrhead Business Improvement District (BID) team.
Children were invited to search for 1,000 plastic eggs hidden throughout the park.
Once they had discovered three colour co-ordinated eggs, they were then able to visit a participating business to collect a chocolate reward.
Colette Edenborough, project management assistant for the BID team, told the Barrhead News: “Everybody had such a fantastic day.
“We must have given out nearly 300 Easter eggs, with lots of local businesses participating. From the feedback we got both from families and businesses, this year’s event went really well.
“It was good to see families enjoying the sunshine.
“We’d like thank everyone involved for making it such a great day.”
