IT was green for go at Barrhead Bowling Club as the ladies section hosted an open day.
Visitors from other clubs in the area were invited to attend, with a warm welcome provided.
It is hoped the event will also lead to new members signing up.
Maureen Arthur, president of the club’s ladies section, was on hand to thank all those who went along.
As well as taking to the greens for some friendly matches, an afternoon tea was laid on and guests could try their luck in the raffle.
A spokesperson for Barrhead Bowling Club said: “All the ladies who attended had a wonderful day.”
