A WOMAN was detained by police after allegedly conducting herself in a disorderly manner in a Barrhead street.
It is understood the 28-year-old woman was arrested for shouting and swearing in Glasgow Road at the weekend.
A police spokesman confirmed the incident took place at around 1am on Saturday.
He added: “The woman was taken to Cathcart Police Office and was later released for reports to be prepared.”
