PASSENGERS at Glasgow Airport enjoyed a ‘ballet’ good show as twinkle-toed performers promoted their latest tour of Hansel and Gretel.
In its 50th anniversary year, Scottish Ballet will be taking its specially-adapted version of the classic fairytale, Wee Hansel and Gretel, on a journey across the country, thanks to sponsorship from Loganair, which has its main base at the Paisley terminal.
Audiences will join Hansel and Gretel as they go on an adventure deep into the woods, meeting a witch and her mysterious raven.
That’s before they arrive in an enchanted gingerbread house filled with dancing sweet treats and toys which come to life.
Dancers from the Scottish Ballet will perform alongside talented students from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Kay Ryan, commercial director, Loganair, said: “Our partnership with Scottish Ballet on their Highland Fling tour last year was an undoubted success, and this latest sponsorship further emphasises Loganair’s commitment to supporting the local communities.”
