THREE people have been arrested in connection with a spate of recent robberies in Johnstone.
Police from Johnstone's Community Policing team have confirmed a 28-year-old man, 30-year-old woman, and 40-year-old man have all been reported to court after extensive enquiries into recent housebreakings in the town.

The arrests were made on Wednesday, March 13, and all three have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Police had promised to step up patrols in the town following the spate of robberies with extra officers out in 'full force'.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Following extensive enquiries into recent housebreakings in Johnstone, [the] Community Policing Team arrested a 28-year-old male and a 30-year-old female.

“A 40-year-old male will also be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
“We thank the public for their help.”
