A WOMAN is facing trial over claims she caused serious injury to another driver by ploughing into him in Johnstone.
Anna Docherty, of Victoria Drive East, Renfrew, is said to have crashed into Ross Grant’s car in Dimity Street.
She denies she drove dangerously by failing to stop and give way at a junction, striking his car and causing the vehicle to mount a pavement and strike a pillar.
Docherty, 22, was not present when the case against her called at Paisley Sheriff Court.
A letter pleading not guilty was submitted on her behalf and a trial was scheduled for May.
