A YELLOW weather warning has been issued with 'very strong' winds hitting the country at the weekend.
The warning will start from at around 12am on Saturday morning and last until 3pm.
Strong winds are expected to affect most parts of the UK, including East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire.
This may lead to some travel disruption.
The met office has advised that there may be some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport as well as delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
