PLEAS to save Busby Primary's greenspace fell on deaf ears as plans to build a 120-place nursery were approved.
Over 166 objections were put forward to East Renfrewshire Council's planning committee but Cllr Annette Ireland proposed the motion that the plans should be approved.

By four votes to three, the motion was carried with the support of Provost Fletcher, Cllr Cunningham and Cllr Convery.
But, Cllr David Macdonald hit out at the decision, branding it 'despicable'.
He said: "This decision was just descipable and quite frankly, as low as politics gets. The fight continues."
