FOUR people have been charged with being in possession of class-A drugs following two separate police searches in Barrhead at the weekend.
It is alleged that three men, aged 18, 19 and 20, were found with cocaine in the town’s Neilston Road on Saturday.
Officers on patrol also searched a 23-year-old man in Main Street, Barrhead, at around 11pm on Saturday, when a quantity of powder, believed to be cocaine, was found.
A police spokesman confirmed that reports on both incidents are being sent to the procurator fiscal.
