AN East Renfrewshire resident has described how his neighbourhood has been left “devastated” after two bodies were found in a house this morning.
The Barrhead News previously reported how officers, paramedics and fire crews raced to Stoneside Square, Thornliebank, just after 10am after receiving a report of a concern for a person.
Emergency services remain at the scene as officers treat the deaths as “unexplained.”
One resident, who has lived in the area for 10 years, described how his fellow neighbours are “devastated” at the news.

The man, who did not want to be named, said: “It was a man and a woman who lived there. They’ve been there for about a year, but I hadn’t seen them in about three days.
“The woman struggled with her health.
“The guy was a bricklayer and a good worker.”
Emergency services remain at the scene and the Barrhead News understands fire crews have visited several residents near the area.
