TWO bodies have been found within a house in East Renfrewshire.
Emergency services raced to Stoneside Square this morning just after 10am, responding to reports of "concern for a person" at the address.
Upon arrival, they discovered the bodies.
Police and emergency services remain at the scene.
The residential street has been closed off to the public.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.10am today police were called to reports of concern for a person at Stoneside Square, Thornliebank.
"Emergency services attended and, on arrival, officers discovered two bodies within a property.
"Officers remain at the scene conducting enquiries to establish the circumstances.
"The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained.
"Police are working with partner agencies and taking all precautionary measures as appropriate."
