TWO women saved the life of a post office back in 2008 - after it was destined for the rubbish tip.
Caroline Protheroe and Gillian McKinlay were at the old Carlibar primary school when they saw a fantastic Post Office playset which was going out as rubbish and they decided to rescue it.
Caroline’s husband brought a van, and the Post Office was relocated to take pride of place in the Bank Cafe on Main Street.
